Cavtat, known also as the antique Epidaurus, was a very important Roman colony in this region. This picturesque township features a scenic harbour bordered by pebble beaches and beautiful walking paths along the peninsula. Ston, a medieval little town whose history reaches back as far as the 14th century. Visit the longest stone wall in Europe(5,5km), stroll along the narrow quiet streets passing ancient noble houses. Ston is also world famous for it's oyster production, as well as for its salt works that have produced sea salt for centuries. You can reach Ston with bus Nr. 15.
Trsteno is a picturesque seaside village well known for its history, natural beauty and the 500 year old Asian plane trees. The Trsteno Arboretum boasts the 15th century renaissance summer residence of Gučetić-Gozze family, with its magnificent garden which has been cultivated from the 15th century to the present day. The Arboretum can be entered from the main road, close to the bus stop. Entrance fee: adults: 10,00 Eur, children: 7 Eur, open: summer months from 07.00-19.00. You can reach Trsteno with bus Nr. 12.
